I have discovered the most amazing photographer - Antonella Arismendi.  Based in Buenos Aires she is a fashion photographer and art director and her work is incredible.  The pics below speak for themselves and there is oh so much more to see on her website.  I advise you set aside a fair bit of time to browse her work...

Friday bits and bobs..

At the moment I really am living for the weekends!  What a crazy, busy year it has been so far.
This week I have noticed a change in the weather - even though it is still pretty hot, the air is different and when the wind blows it is a lot cooler than it has been.  You can especially feel it in the mornings.  Apart from the fact that I am now up before the sun (and it seemed to happen quite suddenly), there is a crispness to the mornings that wasn't there just a week ago.  I love a change in season - summer to autumn or winter to spring - both are my favourite times of year.

Dance

Yippee for Friday!  Even though time flies (its March already - for heavens sake!) Fridays can never come too quickly.  Tomorrow my girls have another dancing competition and I never tire of watching them - to be able to dance is a gift.  On the subject of dancing, I am two minds about going to see Black Swan.  I am dying to see it for the cinematography and ballet but I am not sure I am in the mood for the psychological thriller part of it... 

Back to blogging and a brilliant business idea...

After two very intense and busy weeks of clients and shoots I have a bit of a breather before my next job.  It feels so good to be sitting at my dining room table, dogs at my feet and my daughters pottering around - bliss.  I also have two very special friends from Johannesburg staying for the weekend and it is so great to catch up with them and find out whats up in their lives face to face.  They are a pretty dynamic couple and have the most awesome business they are about to launch.  I can't say too much on the blogesphere at this stage, but I will give you a hint in the pics below.....  If you are in Cape Town of Johannesburg, keep your eyes open in the next couple of months....

They have gone off to get us a fresh fish to put on the coals for dinner and I am going to visit some of my favourite blogs for a bit of a catch-up!

Mad about the clothes....!

I had to take 10 minutes to do some blog browsing after a week of all work and no play, and I am completely besotted with this collection by Rodarte!  I am off to a very special wedding tomorrow and the dress code is 'whimsical with a touch of the eccentric' - oh how I wish I had something like these to wear.....

Something to take my mind off....

.....where I am and what I am doing now!  Sitting in a stuffy boardroom at nearly 10pm on a Saturday night talking about feminine hair removal with various people all over the world at the end of a conference line!  I seriously wonder about the business I am in at times.  Actually, all the time.

Cracks - how did I miss this?

I don't know if the movie Cracks, directed by Jordan Scott (daughter of director Ridley Scott) ever came to our cinemas, but if it did, I missed it!  I am immediately going to order a dvd copy because I know just by looking at these exquisite images, that this is my kind of movie.  I can already tell that it will be a feast of magnificent cinematography, art direction and oh so beautiful styling, not to mention no doubt brilliant acting by the likes of Eva Green and gorgeous Maria Valverde.  No one does period movies quite like the British - I can't wait to see it!

Fabulous Friday fashion pics

I can't believe it is the 4th of Feb already!  I also can't believe it is Friday - where did the week go?  I haven't had a gap to look at another blog this week, let alone post anything, but I couldn't let the week go by without something just to prove I still exist!  I will be doing very little posting for the next couple of weeks, but I will be back!
