What a lovely weekend it has been!  We had the most most amazing time in Koringberg - it is such a quaint and quiet little 'dorp' (town) with some really pretty houses and not much else.  You can't help but relax and forget all your worries there.

Here is another awesome look book!  I have to be honest and say that I am not sure if Ulyana Sergeenko is the designer or photographer (I had to do a Google translate from the Russian website eToday) or both, but I just love the slightly off the wall/elegant 1950's retro look of these clothes, and the photographs themselves. I absolutely love this shoot for Twentysevennames 2012 Autumn/Winter collection.  The clothes and pics are just gorgeous.  Twentysevennames is a New Zealand based label and their clothes are simply stunning - I wish they were available locally...

100 Years of Style

This is an absolutely brilliant 100second film celebrating a century of fashion, dance and music.  Directed by Jake Lunt with the Viral Factory, it was shot on location in East London with 100's of costume changes.  The music, choreography and editing is flawless!  If I have one negative to say about it, it has to be our current fashion - it seems so boring compared to where we have been!

I'm back :)

I can't believe it is nearly two months since I have posted anything!  It is sheer laziness on my part - that and the fact that my daughter introduced me to Tumblr and I have to confess that I have been spending far more time hitting the "reblog" button than being creative with my own posts.  

Yesterday I went through to Stanford for a tea party with my gorgeous friend Tracy and all her wonderful friends from the village.  It was pouring rain but her beautiful home was so cosy with a roaring fire and a feast that would have made Marie Antoinette proud!

We ♥ Downton Abbey

We have spent a great deal of this weekend glued to the TV watching Downton Abbey - we're completely hooked and I am already dreading coming to the end of it!  Apart from brilliant British film making, superb acting and a gripping storyline, I am drooling over the costumes!!
