I dreamed of Africa

Still longing for the rain but its pics like these that remind me how lucky I am to live in Africa.  I may live in a city but I just need to see pictures of the bush to conjure up those smells and sounds that are so uniquely African.

Winter

I have been really bad about blogging recently with absolutely no excuse for it!  I think I am waiting for winter, I am ready for a bit of hibernation now!

Olive picking

Just back from a glorious 24 hours with my wonderful Stanford and Hermanus friends - superb food, champagne and conversation and a rather feeble attempt at olive picking (hopefully I still qualify for a bottle of olive oil once it is pressed) - what a tonic.
