First signs of spring

Our almond tree is in full blossom and it is absolutely glorious.  Its always one of the first signs of spring and all our neighbours always stop to admire it.  Unfortunately the blossoms never last as long as I would like - one strong wind or a downpour and they all end up as confetti on our driveway.

Another sign of spring and good things to come are the first strawberries of the season coming into the shops (not imported!)
